What is this?
Fellrace came about because I couldn't find a good place to publish the BCR fell races.
It offers a relaxed and friendly home for FRA and BOFRA races, and any similar uncommercial event.
If you organise one of those, you are warmly invited to publish it here.
Background
I've been building web machinery for over 30 years and organising fell races for nearly 20.
These days the work is all huge pipes and real-time visualisation systems.
I miss the days when I built clean and tidy websites for people to use,
rather than engines talking to other engines,
so sometimes I bunk off and work on fellrace instead.

The version you see here is brand new for 2026, with new mapping and editing tools and a much more phone-friendly layout.
I'm using it to keep in touch with modern approaches and explore new ways of doing things,
which should mean that you're getting a really good line for free, and only occasionally that we fall over or get lost.
